Ruth Aliu

AI Adoption Mentor/Coach

Ruth Aliu is a cybersecurity expert and entrepreneur with over a decade of experience in technology support, security operations, infrastructure security, engineering program management, and compliance across various industries. As the founder of Techity Consulting, she helps business owners leverage technology to streamline operations, scale efficiently, and reduce the overwhelm of managing multiple business functions.

She has been featured with Invest Ottawa, Digital Main Street, Black Professionals in Tech Network, CanadianSME magazine among others. She also contributes to the broader tech community as a Board Member of Cybersecurity Global Alliance.

Susan Diaz

AI Adoption Mentor/Coach

Susan is founder & CEO of Peaceful AI Marketing, inviting small business founders to consider a 100x scale factor in the age of artificial intelligence (AI) through AI literacy and implementation. She also teaches AI-forward Marketing at York University School of Continuing Studies.

Susan is the author of "UNboring, take your content marketing from blah to brilliant" and hosts a podcast called "AI Literacy for Entrepreneurs" which boosts AI literacy among founders. Susan is also mom to a hermit teen and a high-energy Beagle who keep her busy!

Libby Brewer-Dulac

With over a decade of experience designing, producing, and marketing digital content for kids and families, Libby loves helping others discover how the right tech tools can make their businesses run smoother and bring their passions to life. These days, she works with creative, women-led businesses as a Squarespace website designer, helping them build beautiful, functional websites and streamline their day-to-day operations—so they can focus on what they do best.

Jess Joyce is an SEO Consultant who's worked in-house and agency side throughout Toronto for over 15 years. Starting as a front-end developer, she's morphed into running strategy for brands, but will get into the code where they allow her. Nicole got her career start in television before making a move to the world of digital over 15 years ago. She led digital/content teams for great organizations like Astral Media, TIFF and Skate Canada and then ventured out on her own to launch Mnemonics Media. She taps into over two decades of career experience covering digital strategy, content creation and marketing execution to help her clients with their varied business objectives. When not immersed in the work she loves, she can be found running through the city with her Eastbound Run Crew co-founders and run buddies or hitting up delicious restaurants on the east side.

Sara Norton

Sara Norton is the Owner of REPLY-ALL, providing marketing automation services and tech advisory to small and growing businesses.

She has 13+ years of marketing experience across many industries including entertainment, non-profit, education, and software, as well as launching two businesses of her own.

Sara Phelan

Sara is a business strategist and AI mentor who helps entrepreneurs build smarter, more resilient businesses. With a background that spans corporate training, entrepreneurship, and business brokerage, she brings over 25 years of hands-on experience guiding small business owners through growth, transition, and innovation.

Sara’s also the author of AI-Driven Success: Ask the Right Questions, a guide for business owners navigating strategy in the age of automation.

When she’s not mentoring or writing, you’ll find her collaborating with economic development groups, speaking at business events, or walking the Bay of Fundy shoreline with a strong coffee in hand.

Sean Power

Sean Power is Director of Analytics Consulting at Bounteous, a digital transformation and co-innovation agency. He brings over a decade of experience in digital strategy and analytics. Before joining Bounteous, Sean ran a digital marketing agency specializing in B-Corps, social enterprises, and nonprofits. He currently volunteers on the Program Advisory Committee for the Digital Business Management program at Humber College. Sean holds a B.A. (Distinction) in History with a minor in English from the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada, and a Graduate Certificate (Hons.) in Marketing Management from Humber College in Toronto, Canada.

Hema Ramsingh

Hema is a Toronto-based freelance digital marketing strategist with over 15 years of experience as part of corporate marketing teams. Presently, Hema collaborates with small businesses, entrepreneurs and content creators developing comprehensive digital and content marketing strategies to bring their brand to life.

Jules Ribi

Jules has spent the last 10 years immersing herself in the intricacies of social media and digital marketing and advertising. Her experience in both agency and private sector settings has led her to work with a wide breadth of clients with diverse business objectives to ensure their digital strategies have maximum impact. A graduate of the University of Ottawa and Algonquin College, Jules specializes in digital strategy, Facebook and Instagram advertising, influencer marketing, content creation, and media relations. In her spare time you’re likely to find her blogging, reading sci-fi novels, and munching on Suzy Q donuts.

Jyll Saskin Gales

Jyll Saskin Gales is a marketing coach, consultant and trainer. She advises business owners across industries and sizes, helping them get the best ROI from their marketing. Jyll teaches at Google for Startups, Camp Tech, Jelly Academy, boutique agencies, Fortune 100 companies and her own Learn with Jyll platform. She is TikTok's resident "Google Pro" with more than 60,000 followers tuning in for her clear & simple marketing tips. Jyll previously worked at Google for 6 years and has an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Avery Swartz

Avery is the founder and CEO of Camp Tech. She's the author of See You on the Internet: Building Your Small Business with Digital Marketing. Avery's also a tech correspondent for the media: you may have seen her on CTV's Your Morning, heard her voice on CBC Radio, or read her small business articles in The Globe and Mail. Avery was listed #5 on the Top 50 Women in Marketing list by Search Engine Journal.

Teri Vlassopoulos

Director of Operations

Teri Vlassopoulos is a CA, CPA with over 20 years of experience in finance and operations, specializing in the tech industry. She's worked for a wide range of companies such as EY, CGI, and FreshBooks. She is also a writer and her third novel, Living Expenses, was published in May 2025. She lives in Toronto.
