How We Use AI at Camp Tech

Generative AI tools we regularly use include ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Claude, Notion AI, Canva AI, and Fireflies. We use these tools to help us brainstorm, to generate first drafts of program descriptions, draft written marketing content, lightly touch up photos, and to summarize meetings and documents. We have taken as many steps as we can to ensure that the tools we use are secure, including paying for software licenses, and turning off model training and memory features inside the tools.

We do not enter sensitive information or confidential data into AI tools, and all outputs are verified by us for accuracy and checked for algorithmic bias, to the best of our abilities. We do not use AI-created images or videos in our marketing material. We do not use AI tools in human resources.

In addition to using AI in our day-to-day operations, we experiment with AI tools so that we’re familiar with them and can teach them in our workshops. When experimenting with AI tools, we only use publicly available data.
